Partitioning and grooming has not completed recently

We initially got message that said this two days ago,

The transaction log for database 'OperationsManager' is full. To find out why space in the log cannot be reused, see the log_reuse_wait_desc column in sys.databases

While we continue to see the above message, we now get this below... what do we need to do to resolve this ?

Any suggestion is appreciated.

We use SCOM 2012 SP1 CU2.

The partitioning and grooming processes for the operational database (OperationsManager) on the server syscentsqlny\opsmgrprd have either not been run recently or have been failing. At the time this alert was raised, the partitioning and grooming process had not completed for days.
