SCOM MSSQL login failed

I have just installed SCOM and SQL all on the same server. I have configured service accounts etc as per http://blogs.technet.com/b/kevinholman/archive/2010/09/08/configuring-run-as-accounts-and-profiles-in-r2-a-sql-management-pack-example.aspx#pi10475=3

I can still see in the event logs the below:

Log Name:      Application
Source:        MSSQLSERVER
Date:          16/12/2015 12:35:27
Event ID:      18456
Task Category: Logon
Level:         Information
Keywords:      Classic,Audit Failure
User:          NETWORK SERVICE
Computer:      servername.fqdn
Description:
Login failed for user 'domain\servername.fqdn$'. Reason: Could not find a login matching the name provided. [CLIENT: 129.x.x.x]

I have ben trying to resolve the issue for a couple of weeks now and don't seem to be getting anywhere fast! I am not a dba and we do not have any dba's. I am unable to find the login account it is referring to on SCOM or SQL. At the moment the majority of the agents are all greyed out and showing critical, we do have some green agents that show not monitored.
