One of the OM management groups I administer has 6 managemement servers in the notifications resource pool. I am logging notification events and can see that only one of those servers is actively generating notifications. I expected to see this role distributed amongst all members. Especially since the single server will simply stop notifying at random, until the root cause of some issue corrected, all the while the role doesn't appear to be picked up by any of its peers.
I'm looking for other ideas, thoughts and workarounds for this issue. It's distressing to know that while I work to guarantee reliable notifications to my users, the software itself, has other plans.
