I upgraded my server from SCOM 2007 R2 CU7 to SCOM 2012 R2. All of my agents (700) are still at SCOM 2007. I did not want to upgrade them first because I did not want to have my agents at 2012 if my server crased during the upgrade. It did crash on me and I had to re-install all versions of SCOM 4 times. Now that it is at 2012 R2, I noticed everything is working fine as far as speed is concerned. Except when I am in monitoring and I click on Windows Computers. It takes at least 5 minutes for the agents to populate and the same amount of time to do anything else. Could it be because they are at 2007? If so, then how can I push the upgrade down to each of theses agents? Do I have to keep pushing it down to clients that are on at the time and then wait for the agents that are powered off to come up and then push it down to them? Or am I better off pushing it down through SCCM?
