SCOM - Alters priority editing for ticket creation.

Hi All,

We use connectors for generating tickets in ticketing tool when SCOM generates alerts, while we use HP connectors i would like to know if there is a way we can change the priority of alerts in such a way that it shows the same in the ticketing tool as well.

For e.g: in my environment all the alerts genearted are raised as P1(Priority 1 tickets) which i  don't want to do.How can i change that? , how i can change something in connectors so that not every ticket is generated as P1 ticket in ticketing tool.

I know couple of ways to do it like AlertUpdate service connector and others to edit the connector values and use them accordingly, but i would like to know is any crisp method of doing it as there is lot scirpting involved in AlertUpdate service method.

Any ideas will be really helpful.
