Hi, apologies if this is a level 100 question and I should know but...
Just wanting some clarification on the difference between the Management server action account and the Agent action account. I've been having some issues with the SQL MP run As Accounts I'd set up and am trying to trace where issue might lay.
My Management Server Action Account is configured to use a domain account and the credentials I select for the Agent Action Account is always Local System which is hopefully the most commonly used 'best practice' approach!
So I am just asking what account runs the workflows etc on the agent - I assume that would be the 'Local system' and what/where does the management server action account run - is that used for executing tasks etc from the console?
Any clarification much appreciated...
