Maximum Timeout for Script based Monitor Recoveries

I write a script, which I use as for a Recovery when the Monitor changed to Critical health state.

The script runs fine on its own and due to what it does takes about 7 minutes to complete.

I therefore set the "Timeout" value on the "script" tab for the monitor recovery to 10 minutes to give it plenty of time. However I when the recovery runs I receive a timeout error, basically stating the resovery timed out.

I looked on the internet and found a post which said the "maximum" timeout for a test or resocvery (not sure if theuy meant diagnostic as well) was 600 seconds (5 minutes). despite the fact the GUI lets you choose longer timeouts.

Is this correct? is the maximum 5 minutes? and if so is there some way around this?
