"Failed to Connect to Computer" Alerts after removal of original RMSe (OM 2012 R2)

I recently decommissioned my original RMSe and prior to that I moved it to another Management Server.  Ever since this, any heartbeat failures that occur immediately trigger a "failed to connect" alert based on the diagnostic ping task that's triggered from the heartbeat failure alert.  

I've looked at my discovered inventory on "Health Service Watchers Group" and i see three entries for the old RMSe and one entry for the new RMSe.  See screenshot below:

The three highlighted in the red box reference the old RMSe and the bottom one is referencing the new RMSe.  I'm going to assume that this could be the root cause for the ping diagnostic failing however I haven't the slightest idea how to fix it.  

Has anyone else come across this and more importantly; how to fix it?

EDIT: The old RMSe no longer exists and is not reachable by name.
