Recently we ran into a issue where all our Rollup Monitors were in greyed state . Upon investigation we found that its happening because one of the MS server was having an issue with the System Center Management Configuration service. So my doubt/query is .....since all the Management servers are in resource pool ,shouldn't the other MS should take the responsibility and the role of rollup's
We have total of 4 Management Servers , On one of the MS the System Center Management Configuration was getting stopped intermittently and on a frequent basis . Once we start the service the roll up's would work . But after some time , the service would stop again and the state of the rollup wont be displayed .
Upon hours of investigation we found that the service was crashing and eventually getting stopped , due to memory issue. The Management Server was using Dynamic Memory , and the VM was not releasing any dynamic memory (it never use to give more then 2gb). Once we fixed that , the service started working properly and till I don't see that issue .
So my query is since all the Management servers are in resource pool ,shouldn't the other 3 MS should take the responsibility and the role ? Any guidance or help would be appreciated
