I'm trying todisable themonitoring of alldbengine (2005,2008,2012),exceptthey are addedto a specific group.To do this,I disabledthefollowingdiscoveryrulesfor allobjectsofSQLServerInstallation 2005/8/12Seedclass:
DiscoverSQLServer2005 DatabaseEngines (WindowsServer)
DiscoverSQLServer 2008DatabaseEngines (WindowsServer)
DiscoverSQLServer 2012DatabaseEngines (WindowsServer)
FurthermoreI createda group withthe serversI wantto monitor theSQLDB Engineand I'veenabledthe same discovery rules.
Once done,I have launched thecmdletremove-scomdisabledclassinstancemultiple times,and many of theSQLDBEngineinstanceshave been removed,but I have many others thatdo not disappear.
Any idea?
