I wrote a .Net program but SCOM does not recognize it

So apparently SCOM can NOT monitor non-.Net Applications, which is REALLY great (attention, irony).
Because of that I wrote a .Net (3.5) Application that collects the data I need from the non-.Net-Application.

Now I want to do, what Microsoft thinks everybody wants to do: Monitor the .Net-Application.

But SCOM does not find it. I went through the .NET-Application-Monitoring-Wizard but there is NOTHING shown. How to fix?
