I can't find a MOM 2005 forum so I figured I'd drop my question here and see if there are any MOM 2005 folks around.
I haven't used MOM in years and I have recently been asked to remove a notification. It turns out that whenever a particular machine is rebooted (a DC), an email notification is sent out. The folks involved want this to stop. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to stop it. I found the alert (Server Reboot Alerts) and when looking at the computer details, I see that it has a Rule group called "NetOps Event Log Alerts" that is associated with the computer group "DNS Server Reboot". But I can't figure out how to stop that alert from triggering a notification. Any suggestions?
On another note, while researching this issue, I noticed that the computer group "DNS Server Reboot" does not show up in the list of computer groups. Why not? It is in the list of computer groups presented in the dialog box presented when you want to associate a rle goup with a computer group but it does not show up in the list of computer groups listed under management packs.
