Monitoring a Log File with Dynamic Path

Hello,

I'm attempting to create a unit monitor (event reset) for a log file.  The path to the log file gets updated daily with the current date (this cannot be changed).  I'm looking for a way to build the monitor to allow for the updated path rather than set a static path.

Has anyone built a script to use the System.ApplicationLog.GenericLogReader module to get similar functionality to the canned monitor?  I'm thinking the script can get the current date and in turn set the date on the path to be a "static" value to pass to the module.
