Groups are not visible when overriding as group

Hi There,

            Environment : We have SCOM 2007 R2 Environment with Multiple custom Monitors and these custom monitors are not created by me(just to say i really don't know what mistake they did when creating it). These Custom monitors are simple Service Monitors for different applications.

    Issue : Now i have been told to override setting on these custom monitors for a group of servers. I created a group , Added servers in to it. When to the Custom Monitor and Clicked override over a group and searched for my custom group i created but NOT FOUND. I searched for already existing groups , but none of the groups where found. 

  Questions : Why am not able to see ANY group at all in the override as a group ?
