I have an issue with SCOM Command notifications
Running SCOM 2012 SP1.
I currently have a subscription on All Critical alerts, resolution state New (0).
I have found that if the alert is modified, I get another notification for that alert.
Is there a way to stop this behaviour?
What is happening:
Currently, I have a command notification which runs a powershell script, then logs an incident in third party ticketing software which then forwards on the Incident number to the ticket id in the scom alert that created it. Problem is that because the alert has been modified, another alert notification is sent, another incident is raised and we end up with an endless loop.
Any ideas?
