Dear Experts,
we have SCOM 2007 R2 environment with our client and I am facing a small issue there like one of the Application server is getting monitored by SCOM and we have set scheduled job to restart the application service daily basis through Task Scheduler and it is working fine.
But, SCOM is not sending the service stopped alerts daily and it is sending randomly, In a week SCOM sending 4 or 5 alerts randomly and why we didn't receive the alerts on everyday. (Note:- Service is restarted everyday without fail)
2nd Question, Again mentioned above application server does not sending the alerts while rebooting the server even it is not sending the"Health Service Heartbeat Failure" too. but randomly sending the Service stopped alert as mentioned above as said.
Kindly let me know what is the cause of this problem for the server ?
