Can we integrate SCVMM 2012 SP1 with SCOM 2012 R2

Hi Team,

I have my SCOM 2012 SP1 integrated with SCVMM 2012 SP1.  Now we are planning to upgrade SCOM to 2012 R2. But I am confused about the below questions.

1. Can SCOM 2012 R2 be integrated with SCVMM 2012 SP1?
2. Will the current integration of SCOM–SCVMM break after SCOM is upgraded to 2012 R2?

I am reading from http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh427297.aspx that SCVMM 2012 R2 only support SCOM 2012 R2 and not SCOM 2012 SP1. Is this so ?

Can someone please help me here.
