Not getting Heartbeat alert notifications in SCOM 2012 SP1 for the custom groups in the management pack

Hi Team,

My environment is SCOM 2012 SP1. i use the old way of 2007 to create my MP's authoring console=>windows Registry as discovery and then import it to SCOM 2012 SP1. once the discovery is done then i create groups => views => monitors & alerts.

so far so good.

now the group owners are not receiving the heartbeat alerts or computer not reachable alerts. but they are getting all other alerts as configured.

i tried to edit the XML file as per the process mentioned by Tim McFadden

not where i went wrong. Please guide me.
