SystemCentre OpsMgr 2012. We just found out there is data corruption (event id 824) in our OperationsManagerDW. Unfortunately we don't know when it got corrupted. We do know that a backup taken 3 weeks ago is good (i restored the db to another server, ran DBCC CHECKDB ('OperationsManagerDW'), and it returned clean. But we don't know (yet) which date is good between July 3 and now.
Is it possible for me to just restore the OperationsManagerDW database to a time prior to the OperationsManager database? Basically i want to keep my current OpsMgr database as we have made changes, added machines, etc and i'm ok with losing data event and performance data in the DW database.
But will there be any issues if i restore OpsMgrDW to 3 weeks ago, but keep the current OpsMgr database as-is?
