On several of our Windows 2012 R2 servers the Microsoft Monitoring Agent (HealthService) service crashes from time to time:

Faulting application name: HealthService.exe, version: 7.1.10184.0, time stamp: 0x522a1c38
Faulting module name: HealthService.dll, version: 7.1.10184.0, time stamp: 0x522a23bb
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x000000000010d0f8
Faulting process id: 0x570
Faulting application start time: 0x01cfafecf13f8192
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Monitoring Agent\Agent\HealthService.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Monitoring Agent\Agent\HealthService.dll
Report Id: 86386385-1d72-11e4-9419-005056ab4ddf
Faulting package full name:
Faulting package-relative application ID:

On every server the last event in the OpsMgr log was:

Source: .NET app monitoring
Event ID: 34229
Description: The System Center Management APM write action configuration infrastructure has stopped.

So the only explanation I have that it has something to do with the APM management pack.

How can I troubleshoot this issue further and more important, how can I solve it?
