hello
i have 35 active directory child domains in a single forest and 5 domain controllers in each child domain. so they are nearly 180 domain controllers. i am in process of designing a dashboard using vision addon in order to monitor the health of all the domain controllers in a geographical map.
since the number of servers are high and if i place all the domain controllers on the map, there will be a crowded map with a lot of servers. i would like to have only a server icon for each child domain and place it on the map but in the background this icon is dependent to health state all 5 domain controllers in the domain. if only of the domain controllers in each child domain goes down (replication, ping status, sysvol problem , ...) the parent icon becomes red and indicate that there is a problem in one of the domain controllers.
any ideas how to set this up?
