AD Client Side monitoring issues

Hi,

I have a very simple test deployment of SCOM 2012 SP1. A single Management server on w2012, single SQL Server on w2012 and a single DC on w2008R2.

I have enabled the AD Client side monitoring on the SQL server. Most of it works fine. I am getting 2 funny errors on client side scripts. It appears that the script believes the SQL server that is performing the client side check is a domain controller. This is true for the “AD Client GC Availability” and the “AD Client Serverless Bind”. Has anyone seen this before? Data is being collected for the other rules. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ciaran

Error 1

AD Client GC Availability : The script 'AD Client GC Availability' encountered an error while executing the query '<LDAP://SQLServer.domain.com/CN=Sites,CN=Configuration,DC=domain,DC=com>;(&(objectCategory=nTDSDSA)(options:1.2.840.113556.1.4.803:=1)(!isDeleted=TRUE));adspath,cn;subtree'.
The error returned was: 'The server is not operational. ' (0x80040E37)

Error2

AD Client Serverless Bind : The script 'AD Client Serverless Bind' encountered an error while determining whether the DC SQLServer.domain.com is configured to cover the local site.
The error returned was: 'The request is not supported.' (0x80070032)
