Hi,
I had a SCOM2007R2 installation monitoring clients, then installed (cleanly as a separate Management grp) 2012R2 and added the agents from there on to the same clients.
It's now time to get rid of the 2007R2 Managements servers and I thought it should be straightforward to remove the client agents first.
So I tried uninstalling the agent first from 2012R2, then from 2007R2.
The uninstalls (via the gui on the Management servers) went through fine.....or so it seemed???.
When re-installing only for 2012R2, ALL the agents get stalled in Pending with an "Installation in Progress" status.
The only way I could get them out of that was to uninstall the agent from the client servers manually via Control panel, then install from the Management server.
Has anyone else had this problem? I tried stopping the Management service and deleting theHealth State folder, but that did not help.
Not sure what to do with the rest that I still want to uninstall the agents from, so they are "clean".
Any help appreciated.
