Problem creating a new state view in console - SCOM2012 SP1 UR2

Hi,

I've recreated a MP from scratch in SCOM2012, and created a state view in a new folder on the monitoring pane.

I create the state view with criteria as:

Show data related to "Object" (i.e. no change)

Show data contained in a specific group - which I change to the group containing teh servers I'm interested.  In this case, the group contains 2 servers.

However, when trying to open the view, it hangs and eventually ad says:

"The incoming request has too many parameters. The server supports a maximum of 2100 parameters. Reduce the number of parameters and resend the request."

now, I know that this is a MS SQL limitation, but why am I getting this in SCOM2012 and how do I resolve it?
