Good morning everyone,
I am experiencing a couple of problems with SCOM 2012 for which I have been unable to find solutions for online.
1. We currently have alerts under Administration > Monitoring > Active Alerts for which they have been configured under Administration > Notifications > Subscriptions for: Low Disk Space, Services Stopping and Heartbeat Failures.
These alerts show up no problem under Active Alerts, but I would like email alerts to be received for EVERY notification that shows up. I don't know how to do this. We currently receive some alerts via email through SMTP, for which a Channel was setup under
Notifications. Does anyone know how to do this?
2. The second problem I am having is that not all servers seem to be alerting. For example, 1 Server will alert us when there is a heartbeat failure, but another Server will not. I tested this by shutting down the Server and seeing if an alert came up. The server which isn't alerting has a SCOM Agent installed and is shown under Administration > Device Management > Agent Managed. Does anyone know why I am receiving heartbeat failure alerts for 1 managed server and not the other?
