I agree that with SCOM 2012 Sp1 we can monitor Windows service performance but can we drill down to specific function and the dlls causing the performance issue ? . Above provided link does not make it clear if we can drill down to function hitting the performance using SCOM 2012 SP1. SCOM does the same for me for IIS web applications and let me to drill to function causing the issue .
Please provide any link stating for how to configure and drill down to specific function causing the performance issue in Windows service using SCOM 2012 Sp1 or APM . I am not able to check the same as I don't have windows server 2012 , so if I can achieve drilling down to function then I will ask my support team to provide an windows server 2012 machine for testing.
