Hello, I am looking for some advice on a potential issue with SDK service handle leak.
I have 2 seperate instances of SCOM 2007R2, both with CU5.
Both monitoring around 300 servers, but in slightly diferent ways, 1 is all internal using kerberos, with 3 management servers, the other is monitoring 3 different forests, utilising gateway servers. The one utilising gateways appears to be experiencing a handle leak on the SDK service.
when i compare the 2 SCOM instances, (microsoft.mom.sdk.servicehost.exe) one is stable for days, sitting at a handle count of around 1000, the other, the handle count is continuously climbing, currently at 21,000 after 24 hours, but I have seen it rise up to 6,000,000.
Surely this is abnormal, how can I determine exactly where the issue lies, I see there is an update on CU6 that addresses an SDK memory leak for "cryptography keys and cryptography contexts" unsure if this is related to this issue.
