SCOM Monitoring for NLB URL

Hello,

We have a large Sharepoint farm with Cisco as NLB. We need to configure an alert in SCOM if the server has been removed from NLB.

As of now we have a watcher node which has a dynamicmonitoring.xml file, which monitors the URL's. It is not efficient as the polling happens only every 15 mins.

Is there any other efficient want to monitor these URLS?

Note: The NLB url is http://servername/healthcheck -> returns the servername. There is a html file in the IIS directory. We usually rename this file if we need to remove the server from NLB.
