Hi all! I'm totally a newbie...
I've got SCOM 2012 R2 (v.7.1.10226) "just to try" on VM(Client OS: Windows Server 2012 R2 Std, hypervisor: HyperV Server 2012). It successfully discovered another virtual server(same OS,there lies it's DB) and installed agent, performance monitors are active and work. I'm able to discover all network devices I need: 4 Cisco 2921 and APC 5000 UPS were discovered and are monitored in a basic way. What is strange to me is that I cannot make "network map" to show more than one device I discovered earlier.
I tried to discover a bunch of devices in one step, or discover them independently, I can "ping" or "tracert" them from SCOM interface but they appear on map only alone.
When I try to tune number of hops(real are from 1 to 3 for devices I added, I tried all) or set the Chekbox "show computers" map is being refreshed, but nothing is being added. It renders map only for previously selected device.
What was done: devices from same subnet with only "icmp" checked scan,devices from other subnet with both icmp and snmp checked to scan, recursive scan of those I scanned before. Nothing changed.
