Monitoring Network Connection Count against Azure Role Instance

Does anyone know how to monitor network connection count against your Azure Role Instance.

What we want to achieve is, something that's equivalent to what you would be able to get when you issue:  netstat|grep -i ESTABLISHED|wc -l
