SCOM 2012 SP1 Network discovery doesn't show neighbour switch

When performing a Network discovery we find all our switches, so far so good. I have tried both explicit discovery and recursive discovery, and they both populate the list of networkdevices.

The problem is that the "links" between the switches are missing in Network vicinity view.

SCOM fails to discover whitch ports are connected to other switches, and the ports ar not shown as monitored. Monitored servers is also not showing up.

We have just changed our core switch to a Cisco Catalyst 4500.

The Network is quite segmented, and i wonder if that could be the problem.

We are using several subnets, and routing them through the coreswitch.

One Vlan could be 10.x1.y1.z1 with a subnet mask of 255.255.0.0, and gw adress on the coreswitch

another could be 10.x2.y1.z1 with the same subnet mask, and another gw adress on the coreswitch

Hope someone have a clue to what the problem could be.

Best Regards Heini Guttesen
