SCOM 2012 SP1 - Network Monitoring - Mac addresse in "Path" instead of the device name

Hello, I currently facing a "problem" when monitoring
network equipment, when displaying a alert , the name of the equipment is not
used . Instead scom uses the mac address of the device. 
Anybody have a workaround to change the mac address to the device name?
