Why there is no any counter data for Hyper-V VM

Hi All,

I am using SCOM to monitor Hyper-V environment.  SCOM discovers two kinds of resources for the same Hyper-V VM - first kind is Microsoft.Windows.Computer and second kind is Microsoft.Windows.HyperV.VirtualMachine.

My first question is - why we have 2 different resources for the same resource?

SCOM collects metric data for Microsoft.Windows.Computer resource and does not collect any data for Microsoft.Windows.HyperV.VirtualMachine. Why?
